Nancy spent 30 years of her veterinary career at what is now collectively the National Centers for Animal Health after starting her career in small animal private clinical practice. Her 24 years at the Center for Veterinary Biologics (CVB) includes 9 years in the laboratory, where she gained extensive experience in testing biologics and troubleshooting potency assays. In her 14 years as a licensing reviewer, Nancy helped biologics companies bring a wide variety of products to USDA licensure. She also wrote numerous policy documents and internal training guides. Nancy successfully led key initiatives to implement regulatory changes (e.g., single tier labeling) and streamline work processes within the CVB (e.g., electronic submissions). She was a frequent speaker at training symposiums and industry meetings.
