Carol Gibbs

Carol is a molecular biologist with a strong background in veterinary and human vaccine development and manufacturing, including extensive research, industry, and regulatory experience. Prior to joining the CVB as a Reviewer, she was the USDA Liaison responsible for regulatory compliance at Lohmann Animal Health, Inc. She was considered an expert Reviewer at the CVB and was involved in laboratory assay development and policy development. She brings particular expertise in the areas of platform and prescription vaccines, where she was a key member of group that developed those policies. Carol has extensive experience licensing vaccines containing live recombinant microorganisms and poultry vaccines.
